Samsung officially unveiled Galaxy Tab 2 – first tablet of the company with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and all the advantages of it. The tablet has a 7-inch screen and is situated in the budget price range. Interestingly, Samsung has another 7-inch tablet – Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. The differences are in operating system and CPU. 7.0 Plus is a dual core 1.2Ghz Exynos and Android 3.2, while Tab 2 is a dual-core processor, but at 1.0 Ghz.

54% of Kindle Fire owners are happy

Research shows that only 54 percent of the owners of Amazon Kindle Fire tablet device are very pleased with the product. ZTE Optik – Chinese version of Kindle Fire

On February 5 the Chinese ZTE Corporation with the joint assistance of the mobile operator Sprint gave a kick start sales of new tablet called ZTE Optik in the U.S.. Analysts said that the device has great potential to become a major competitor of 7-inch tablet by Amazon and others named it the Chinese Kindle Fire. We recall briefly the most important aspects, which the new model has. ZTE Optik offers a seven-inch LCD dipsley with 1280×800 pixels. Features the latest version of the operating system Android 4.0, which is powered by a dual-core processor Snapdragon 1.2GHz and 1GB RAM. There are two HD webcams, with the main extension 5MP and the second, which is mounted on the housing front panel – a 2 megapixel. The device supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, HDMI port, audio jack, microSD card slot. There is an opportunity for 3G and 4G LTE permanent Internet connection. It is initially available with 16GB of internal user memory for a suggested price of $350.
