On the website of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) appeared a new device manufactured by the Taiwanese company MSI. It is a tablet given product designation MS-N0J1. Given the fact that the product is based on the platform Rockchip RK2918, it can be assumed that it will be positioned at the lower price segment.

Features of the MS-N0J1 includes 10-inch display with a 1024 x 768 pixels, 1GB RAM, 8 GB internal flash memory, Bluetooth and wireless adapters Wi-Fi, a slot for memory cards format microSD, stereo speakers and microphone . The list of interface connectors of the model is represented by two Mini USB port and one Mini HDMI. The user manual of the tablet shows that it might feature two cameras. Judging by the presence of four touch buttons on the right side of the screen, MS-N0J1 runs not on Android 4.0, but on earlier versions of the operating system.

The dimensions of the MS-N0J1 are 245.9 x 192.7 x 11.2 mm, weighs 648 grams and the power of the tablet is carried out by two-cell battery capacity 3500 mAh. Unfortunately, the guide price and the expected date of occurrence of the tablet on sale has not been reported, but the FCC certification is a clear indication that the market launch of the device is not far away in time.

Quite a number of manufacturers primice the release of Windows 8 tablets as you probably know the OS is specifically optimized for tablet devices.

The market is dominated mainly by Apple but HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS and Toshiba will try to change that, creating a quality and profitable consumer mobile tablet machines with the operating system from Microsoft.

According to speculation, one of Lenovo’s tablet will cost under $ 300, which will be a serious demand for the market share of Android and iOS. We do hope that other companies will try to offer similar price conditions, this will make it hot competition in this sector.

Invasion of the cheap tablets continue in the segment of devices equipped with the latest release of OS Android – Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0). Just another contender in the race for the most affordable models of this kind this time comes from the hitherto unknown American company Xtex, which announced an interesting Android 4.0-based tablet own work called My Tablet 7. Among the most interesting features of the model, of course, price is only $ 150.

The new product has the ambitious goal to compete well positioned for the U.S. market Kindle Fire. At a cost of $ 50 lower than that of the tablet of Amazon, fighter Xtex offers 7-inch touchscreen display, a processor with 1,5 GHz clock and 1 GB of RAM. It is envisaged that 16 GB of built-in storage space, but also has an SD card slot, with which it can be tripled. Xtex My Tablet 7 is also equipped with 2 megapixel camera and a frontal HDMI interface.

According to online sources that distribute news, new Android 4.0 cheap tablet is an excellent alternative, but the problem will be the unknown name of its creators, that despite the advantages of the device probably will prevent My Tablet 7 to enter the prestigious “shelves” of large retail or online stores like Best Buy. Otherwise, My Tablet 7 can be ordered now from the official product page Xtex.

In conclusion remained to recall that by the end of this year promises quite cheap tablets and the famous French manufacturer Archos, although for them still are not many technical details.

Tablet is still seen mainly as an entertainment gadget – where we can watch movies on the go, check your status on Facebook or playing games while traveling on public transport. Recent studies, however, show that this class of technology becomes more widely used in the business world.

Barclay company recently conducted numerous studies both in the United States and Europe, which showed that interest in tablets increases in various business areas. 93% of surveyed companies have shown interest in these gadgets, 40% already use tablets and other 36% are yet to introduce these products in their work.

Furthermore, 40% of respondents say that the tablet would successfully replaced the laptop, which proves once again the link between the popularity of gadgets like the iPad and declining interest both netbooks and notebooks to.

Unlike previous studies in business, those of Barclay shows that companies are interested not only in Apple tablet but to other models as well – especially those who work with the Android OS, but also, and to Tablet PCs with Windows.

The most common model for work with a tablet known as BYOD – acronym whose meaning can be translated as “bring your own device.” This model allows employees to use their personal tablet at work and, according to Barclay, it is thanks to him these devices have become so popular in business.

Google has promised us a tablet this year, but it seems that its work does not go quite as planned. The latest unofficial information was that the premiere will be in the coming months. The source of the latest information on the subject presentation was scheduled for May, but Google and ASUS, appear to have more work on the project and it was postponed to July. The reason for the delay is that the target tablet can cost between 150 dollars and 199 dollars, but for now its price is 249 dollars, which requires further changes in design and components. Such strategy clearly confirms the suspicion that the company will compete primarily with the Amazon Kindle Fire instead of iPad. In terms of the characteristics we expect 7-inch display, NVIDIA Tegra processors 3 and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

A few months ago the company Polaroid introduced its line of tablets based on Google Android 2.2 and Android 2.3. It seems the debut of the devices has brought the desired success and popularity, because the company announced it is preparing a new Tablet PC model, which will again be subject to the latest operating system from Google. The new product is called Polaroid PMID701i this week was the site detected by the FCC, suggesting its recent appearance on the American market. The device has 7-inch display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Will work under the management of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with this limited innovation. The remaining components are standard: CPU ARM Cortex-A8 processor with a clock frequency of 1 GHz, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. The good news is that Polaroid PMID701i offers full multi-touch capacitive display, Wireless 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and microSDHC card slot if users want to expand the volume of internal memory. The developers of Polaroid ensure that the battery lasts up to 6 hours in continuous mode and 5 hours video playback when switched off WiFi. Although the model offers a Web browser user interface for Android, not a certificate of approval from Google. Therefore, Internet tablet does not have access to Google Play Store, and to the store with applications to Amazon. At this stage no information on price, but to describe the specifications Polaroid PMID701i expected to fall in the group of low-cost Internet tablets.
