Motorola launched for sale through its website – new tablet Xyboard. The company has removed Droid on behalf of the device that was previously delivered exclusively by the operator Verizon Wireless with a subscription to LTE access.
Members who want to buy Xyboard without a contract to Verizon, will need to meet with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n access. LTE is available with respect to the contract operator.
Xyboard provides 8.2- or 10.1-inch screen with resolution 1280×800 pixels. Relies on dual-core processor clocked at 1,2 GHz and 16 or 32 gigabytes of internal memory. There are two cameras – a main 5-megapixel with autofocus and LED flash and an additional 1.3 megapixel resolution for video connection. Xyboard runs on Android OS version 3.2, a forthcoming update to ICS. 8-inch model costs $400, and 10-inch is $100 more expensive.
