Viewsonic are a manufacturer who provides mobile devices not with best performance but at a low price. At CES 2012 unveiled ViewPad e70 – 7-inch tablet that provides the latest version of Android, 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at $170-180.
Single-core processor is clocked at 1Ghz, memory for storing files is 4GB and can be increased through microSD. HDMI port is featured in ViewPad E70. There is only one camera – front one, no information yet on megapixels, maybe 1.3.
The OS is Android 4.0, but most likely Android Market will not be included in the device. It will be installed with applications which supposedly should satisfy users’ needs. Access to other sources of application and games such as Amazon Appstore, GetJar or SlideMe should work.
Viewsonic ViewPad e70 will be available in the Q1 of 2012.
